The chart presents the composition of public debt by category of financial instrument, illustrating the main sources of financing of the Hellenic Republic. The main categories include bonds, loans from the official sector (such as loans from the European Stability Mechanism and bilateral loans from Eurozone member states), Greek Treasury bills, repurchase agreements (repos), loans from the European Investment Bank, as well as other loans and financial instruments (indicatively SURE and RRF).
